Webhook On Live setup
- obs demands a *specific* version of python. pretty sure it's 3.4? https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-3410/
- you'll need a webhook in a discord channel.
- go to discord, pick the channel, right click, edit.
- intregrations, create a webhook
- copy webhook URL. hold on to that.
- (optional) customize webhook as desired - avatar, name.
- dl the script, put it wherever you like.
- go to OBS. Tools → Scripts. Bottom left, there should be a + button. Browse for the script you downloaded.
- configure script:
- URL: the url of the webhook from discord
- body: whatever you want to post when you go live.
